Doug Sandwell Scholarship

The Douglas Sandwell Memorial Scholarship

The Doug Sandwell Scholarship was established in 2016 to honor the memory of Dr. Doug Sandwell, who dedicated his entire career to serving at Norfolk Christian Schools. He taught in almost every area of education for 20 years before his death, at age 46, in 2015. He served as a shining example to the entire community of a man of steadfast faith, integrity, and honor. He lived a life that glorified God, and his battle with cancer allowed him to serve as a living witness of a life lived in full devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ. His example of obedience, humility, integrity, and service inspired students and colleagues alike to honor God in all walks of life.
