State Competition Results
Congratulations to our Indoor Track team! Adam Porter placed 8th in the Long Jump earning a new school record. Daryl Li finished 9th in the 500 m, breaking a previous personal best. Our 4X400 relay team (Gage Elliott, Josiah Gilbert, Daryl Li & Jacob Duckworth) also broke a previous record. Way to go guys!

Our Varsity Swim team also competed well in the state meet! On the first day of the championships, the boys’ medley relay swam in the State Finals beating their seed time and placed 14th overall. The second day was filled with more excellent State Swimming! The boys 4X50 freestyle relay dropped two seconds and made it to finals, placing 16th in the State. The boys swam beautifully! Max Johnson had a great 100 back and the girls 4X100 freestyle relay dropped 10 seconds from their seed time!

Congratulations to Andrew Allgood on taking 6th place in 182 weight class at the State Wrestling Meet!

Community Service

Community Service is defined as a volunteer service for which a student meets the needs of another person, group, or organization outside of the student’s family. The student volunteer should not receive monetary payment or academic school credit for this service. NCS requires 20 hours of Community Service each school year from each high school student. Service hours may be applied to four categories: meeting the needs of a church, our school, a mission trip, or others. Hours must be documented with the form at the left under High School Policies.
